python3-gi software package provides Python 3 bindings for gobject-introspection libraries, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install python3-gi
python3-gi is installed in your system.
Make ensure the python3-gi package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep python3-gi *
You will get with python3-gi package name, version, architecture and description in a table
